The National Weather Service office in Jackson MS will send out a second team to conduct a storm survey this afternoon for the area near Bolton in Hinds County Mississippi. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on May 9th, 2024. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by this evening. The storm survey information will also be available on our website at http://www.weather.gov/jan, and via our social media channels (@NWSJacksonMS). $$ 22
