Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

SKies were partly sunny across the area this afternoon. A cold
front moved out of Nebraska and was located generally along
Interstate 70 mid afternoon. Temperatures ranged from the lower
70s behind the front to the lower 80s ahead of it. Winds shifted
to the north behind the front and were gusting up to 25 mph, while
ahead of the front winds were from the west to southwest and gusty
at times.

OUTLOOK... a few isolated showers and thunderstorms will be
possible through this evening as a cold front moves through the
region. Low temperatures will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny and cooler with highs ranging from
the middle 60s to around 70. Scattered showers will move across
the region Tuesday night with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
A few showers may linger into Wednesday morning, then partly sunny
with highs in the upper 60s to middle 70s. There is another chance
for showers and isolated thunderstorms Wednesday night with lows
in the 40s.
