.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...It will be windy late this
morning and afternoon in and near the Front Range Foothills and
over far northern Colorado where gusts to 40 mph will be possible.
It will also be mild and dry with relative humidities falling
into the mid teens to lower 20s. East winds develop over eastern
Colorado tonight which will increase moisture and possibly produce
a few weak showers.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday...
Each afternoon Wednesday through Saturday, scattered showers and
storms are possible for parts of the foothills and plains. For the
higher elevations, light snow will occur. A drier period could begin
Sunday along with warmer temperatures. Smoke dispersal should reach
good to excellent for the mountains and foothills Wednesday and
Thursday afternoon.
