Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
132 PM MDT Thu May 2 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns remain quite low through the forecast period. A
prolonged period of below average temperatures with generally higher RH
is likely as several systems work through the area. Moisture is likely on
Friday as a frontal boundary brings snow to the mountains and showers to
the lower elevations of Wyoming and western Nebraska. Expect dry days this
weekend with winds becoming elevated on Sunday. Another storm system bringing
rain and mountain snow is possible by Monday into Tuesday.
