  Northeastern Swain County in western North Carolina...
  Northern Haywood County in western North Carolina...

* Until 245 PM EDT.

* At 122 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 15 miles southeast
  of Gatlinburg, or 5 miles northwest of Smoky Mountains-Balsam
  Mountain, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Smoky Mountains-Cataloochee, Smoky Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Cove
  Creek, Fines Creek, Canton, Lake Junaluska, Smoky
  Mountains-Oconaluftee, Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, and Cherokee.
