...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LINCOLN...NORTHWESTERN ELLSWORTH
AND RUSSELL COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM CDT...

At 143 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Barnard to near Wilson to near Milberger.
Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Russell, Wilson, Lincoln, Lucas, Sylvan Grove, Luray, Dorrance,
Barnard, Milberger, Bunker Hill, Ash Grove, Russell Airport, Wilson
State Park, and Wilson Lake.

This includes Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 182 and 214.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
central Kansas.
