...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ELK...EASTERN
COWLEY AND WESTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM CDT...

At 746 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Cedar Vale, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Howard, Cedar Vale, Moline, Dexter, Grenola, and Cambridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
