.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 159 PM EDT Tue Apr 16 2024
Comfortable conditions continue along, and around, the Florida
Keys with just some fair-weather clouds skirting across the sky.
Winds at the surface remain easterly near 15 mph, but begin to
slowly diminish by tomorrow. Radar returns have shown a couple of
very isolated showers approximately 80 miles to the south of the
Middle Keys, but these have been pop-up showers that have
collapsed quickly. All of this to say, any showers that may be
seen in the distance are not expected to move close to the Keys.

Weather similar to today continues through the rest of the week
with high temperatures in the lower to mid 80s and overnight lows
in the mid 70s. Some clouds mix in with the abundant sunshine,
and chances for precipitation remain under 10%.

Looking ahead to early next week, high pressure allows for these
conditions to continue, but guidance has suggested a slight
increase in the probability of rainfall to 10% on Monday and
Tuesday. Those probabilities are not locked in as it is still a
week away, but it is worth mentioning that we may see a change in
weather early next week.

.MARINE...
Issued at 159 PM EDT Tue Apr 16 2024
Dry weather remains in place as high pressure encourages moderate
to occasionally fresh breezes across the Florida Keys coastal
waters. Sustained breezes of 15 to 20 knots are forecast through
the overnight hours tonight, but occasional gusts of up to 25
knots are possible. Breezes begin to slacken around Wednesday
night, but remain easterly in direction.
