Surface high pressure across northern Manitoba and a developing
storm across western Kansas caused cool air from Canada to move
into western and north central Nebraska today. A few showers
developed and produced less than one tenth of an inch of rainfall.
High temperatures today ranged from 48 degrees at Gordon to 57 at
North Platte.

Tonight, a storm system affecting the southern Rockies and
southern Plains will move north into Nebraska producing rain,
showers and a few thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts of 1/4 to 1 inch
are likely by morning and the rain may mix with wet snow at times
across the western Sandhills. Overnight low temperatures will
range from the lower 30s across the western Sandhills to lower
40s across eastern portions of north central Nebraska.
