Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
228 PM CDT Wed Mar 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Winds have relaxed considerably compared to Monday and Tuesday,
and should remain light through the rest of the week. Biggest
concern from a fire weather standpoint will be afternoon
relative humidity values Thursday. The weak cold front finally
moves through tonight and only slightly cooler but much drier
air will move into the area. Min RH values Thursday could drop
below 25%. Slow recovery will occur after Thursday.
