...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN GLASSCOCK AND
SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for western Texas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR MITCHELL COUNTY...

At 509 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles southeast
of Coahoma, or 20 miles east of Big Spring, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Colorado City, Loraine, Lake Colorado City, Champion Creek Reservoir,
and Lake Colorado City State Park.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 213 and 228.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for western Texas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
