The passage of a cold front today into this evening will bring
rain, high elevation snow, and gusty southerly winds. Wetting
rain will be widespread. Winds will be strongest in the southern
Shasta Valley, and east of the Cascades. Low pressure in the
region will continue cool and unsettled weather later tonight
through Saturday, with the highest probability of precipitation in
southern Siskiyou County. High pressure will then bring a warming
trend early next week.
