.Discussion...
High pressure over the western Atlantic extending across Florida
will continue dry conditions through the weekend. The ridge axis
of the high will stall across South Florida, resulting in light
southwesterly to westerly winds, becoming variable at times,
until the afternoon sea breeze develops. Winds the switch to
southeasterly behind the ECSB at around 10 mph through the
evening. Very warm, with high temperatures and peak afternoon heat
indices in the L-M90s inland. Min RHs west of I-95 near critical
values at 35-45 pct Friday, and at or below critical values
Saturday at 30-40 pct. Smoke dispersion will be Generally to Very
Good Friday, and Very Good to Excellent Saturday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Fog is not forecast tonight
into Friday morning. Conditions may be favorable for patchy fog
development early Saturday morning. In addition, localized
visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing fires will
be possible even if fog is not forecast.
