Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. The associated low pressure will slide E off the New England coast Wed night and NE of the area Thu while pulling a cold front across the northern waters. The front will stall over the northern waters Thu night while a low will slide offshore along the front Fri. As the low slides E across the northern waters a cold front will push across the central and southern waters Fri and Fri night. The front will push just E of the area Sat as a low develops along the front.
