Showers and storms, some possibly strong to severe, will affect the area again this afternoon, and possibly into the overnight period. These storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a few tornadoes. A brief lull in the activity can be expected for much of Wednesday, however, additional rounds of storms are expected later Wednesday evening and Wednesday night. Heavy downpours can also be expected with these storms, and may create localized flooding. The rest of the week will remain unsettled, leading to daily chances for storms.
