Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
238 PM CDT Tue Apr 16 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Cloud coverage and light showers along a thin instability axis
continue to work through the districts this afternoon. The clouds
will hang around through much of the period as RH percentages
between 50 and 60 percent are to be expected through Thursday. At
the same time, mixing heights will near 3000 ft for both
Wednesday and Thursday as southerly 20 ft winds will prevail
through the period, with the strongest of the district based winds
being Thursday afternoon. This will continue to support elevated
moisture profiles locally.
