...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LYON COUNTY THROUGH 1100
AM CDT...

At 1027 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles southwest of Emporia, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow
         around objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Emporia.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 142.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 116 and 138.
