...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Arkansas, including the following
  areas, Ashley and Chicot, northeast Louisiana, including the
  following parishes, Catahoula, Concordia, East Carroll, Franklin
  LA, Madison LA, Morehouse, Richland, Tensas and West Carroll, and
  Mississippi, including the following areas, Adams, Attala,
  Bolivar, Carroll, Choctaw, Claiborne, Clay, Copiah, Grenada,
  Hinds, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Jefferson, Leake, Leflore,
  Lowndes, Madison MS, Montgomery, Neshoba, Noxubee, Oktibbeha,
  Rankin, Scott, Sharkey, Sunflower, Warren, Washington, Webster,
  Winston and Yazoo.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive
  street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional heavy rainfall is expected today over already
    saturated soils that have received 4 to 8 inches of rainfall,
    with some locations seeing higher totals.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central,
  southeast, and southwest Mississippi, including the following
  areas, in central Mississippi, Simpson and Smith. In east central
  Mississippi, Clarke, Jasper, Kemper, Lauderdale and Newton. In
  south central Mississippi, Jefferson Davis, Lawrence, Lincoln and
  Marion. In southeast Mississippi, Covington, Forrest, Jones and
  Lamar. In southwest Mississippi, Franklin MS.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Thunderstorms containing very heavy rainfall will move across
    the area today. Intense rainfall rates of two to five inches
    in a short time will be associated with the storms, and this
    could result in flash flooding.
