...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

  Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County.

  Osage River at Taberville affecting St. Clair and Vernon Counties.

For the Little Osage River...including Fulton, Horton...Minor
flooding is forecast.
For the Marmaton River...including Fort Scott, Nevada...Minor
flooding is forecast.
For the Osage River...including Taberville...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at 400 AM CDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Marmaton River near Nevada.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, flood waters impact the county road west
  of Nevada at the gage site.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Thursday was 22.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 4.1 feet Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs at the gage site.
  Low lying areas along Route D near Stotesbury flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 43.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Thursday was 43.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 31.2 feet
    Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 41.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Osage River at Taberville.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, flood waters impact B Highway 2.5 miles
  east of Rich Hill in the vicinity of the Bates County Drainage
  Ditch.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 28.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Thursday was 29.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 22.9 feet Tuesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
