.DISCUSSION...

A slow moving storm system will keep a few showers across eastern
Illinois today, while areas along and west of I-55 will be mainly
dry. More widespread dry conditions are expected Wednesday, with
the area between two storm systems. Areas west of I-55 will see
higher mixing heights and ventilation rates for any burns,
although areas to the east will generally have fair ventilation
rates. Ventilation rates on Wednesday will be fair to good across
the area. Northerly winds will prevail through mid week.
