Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
315 PM CDT Mon Apr 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Expect a few light and mainly isolated showers in areas along and
north of I-20 this afternoon through tomorrow with clouds on the
gradual decrease over this time period. Winds will will generally
range from 7 to 15 mph through tomorrow with surface directions
currently west to southwest trending to the northwest by tomorrow.
Some patchy fog cannot be ruled out late tonight into early
tomorrow over mainly the Pine Belt around Hattiesburg, but
otherwise the risk of fog is rather low tonight. Through midweek
the minimum afternoon RH values should remain above 30 percent
in all areas so no big fire weather concerns are anticipated.
