FOR DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS, AND VERY HIGH TO EXTREME FIRE
DANGER FOR THE GUADALUPE AND DAVIS MOUNTAINS, VAN HORN HIGHWAY 54
CORRIDOR, MARFA PLATEAU, BIG BEND AND PRESIDIO VALLEY...

.Dry and breezy conditions along with high to extreme fire danger
will persist through late this afternoon and early evening across
the higher terrain of southwest Texas.

THIS EVENING FOR WINDY AND DRY CONDITIONS AND VERY HIGH TO EXTREME
FIRE DANGER...

* WIND...Northwest 20 to 25 mph with higher gusts.

* HUMIDITY...6 to 15 percent.

* FIRE DANGER...Very high to extreme.

* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will increase
potential for fire growth.
