...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Lake St. Clair Open Lake (U.S. Portion)...

At 410 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds up to 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near St Clair Flats Old Channel Light to
6 nm south of Metro Beach Metropark Marina to near Grosse Pointe,
moving east at 40 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Mt Clemens Harbor Of Refuge, Grosse Pointe, St Clair Flats Old
Channel Light, Metro Beach Metropark Marina, St. Clair Shores, and
New Baltimore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 30 knots, locally higher waves,
and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately
until these storms pass.
