533 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024

Forecast is based on ignition time of 0600 CDT on April 25.

conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National

.DISCUSSION...

Sunny skies are expected today as high pressure persists over the
region. Calm to southeast winds early this morning are expected
to become southerly by the time of ignition at 1000. A lake
breeze is very likely (70% chance) to come onshore further north
in the Bayfield Peninsula. However, this lake breeze is not
anticipated to reach the NBWA Unit 19 burn as southerly winds
stall the lake breeze front farther north. Min RH today will be
dropping as low as 26 percent around mid-afternoon as dry air
aloft is mixed to the surface. Smoke dispersal today will be
increasing from fair around the time of ignition to excellent
this afternoon. Widespread rain arrives tomorrow morning and will
persist through the afternoon with breezy winds from the
southeast.
