.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
While today will likely remain dry for many areas, isolated to
scattered thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and
evening, mainly in far north Georgia. More active conditions are
expected across the remainder of the area on Thursday as a cold
front approaches the area. Strong to severe thunderstorms are
possible from Thursday morning through Thursday night.
Minimum RH values today will range from near 40 percent in Middle
Georgia to around 60 percent in far north Georgia. More
widespread showers and thunderstorms on Thursday will keep minimum
RH values in the 55-75 percent range. Winds today and Thursday
will be SW at 6-12 mph with higher winds possible in
thunderstorms.
