390 NZUS99 KGJT 111035 SYNGJT For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather synopsis Showers and thunderstorms will become more widespread to numerous today as the storm system that had a stranglehold on our weather the last few days finally shifts east over the area today. Potential exists for brief moderate rain, small hail and gusty winds with storms today. Another 2 to 5 inches of snow is possible at elevations above 9500 feet, favoring the San Juans, West Elks and Sawatch Ranges. Temperatures will be milder as the slow warmup continues with above normal temperatures reached by early next week. The weather will however remain unsettled through the coming week with storm chances each afternoon.
