To: Subscribers: -NOAA Weather Wire Service -Emergency Managers Weather Information Network -NOAAPort -Other NWS Partners, Users and Employees From: Jesse Lundquist Warning Coordination Meteorologist, Goodland, KS Subject: Temporary discontinuation of afternoon issuance of Regional Weather Summary beginning May 13th, 2024. Based on feedback from our media partners, we have decided to temporarily only issue the Regional Weather Summary product during the early morning hours and not the afternoon. We will enact this change for three months beginning on May 13th, 2024 and ending on August 13th, 2024. We will evaluate any feedback provided during this time to determine if the change will become permanent.
