...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN ANDERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN OCONEE COUNTIES...

At 448 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles southwest of
Seneca, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Seneca, Westminster, Townville, Oakway, Lake Keowee, and Lake
Hartwell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines over small
areas. A brief period of large hail is also possible. Seek shelter
inside an interior room.

This storm is approaching Lake Keowee. If on or near Lake Keowee,
get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle.
Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent
thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be
struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not be caught on
the water in a thunderstorm.
