This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are expected to develop overnight tonight across the
area. Main concerns will be hail up to nickel-sized.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Strong to severe storms are possible across the area Thursday
morning. Main concerns will be hail up to quarter-sized, and
isolated damaging wind gusts.

A second round of strong to severe storms is possible Thursday
night and will last through Friday morning. Main concerns will be
up to quarter-sized hail and 60 mph winds. A tornado cannot be
ruled out west of US-281.

A conditional risk of isolated severe storms exists Friday
afternoon along and east of the Flint Hills.

Very high grassland fire danger is expected on Friday across
central and portions of south-central Kansas.

Another round of strong to severe storms will be possible on
Saturday. There is also the potential for localized flooding where
training thunderstorms occur.

Thunderstorm chances may linger across far southeast Kansas on
Sunday.
