For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An expansive 30.2 inch high will build southeast across
the eastern Great Lakes region today. Meanwhile, a large storm
system will move from the central and northern Plains today to the
upper Mississippi Valley tonight, before shifting east into the
Great Lakes Wednesday. The weakening storm system will pass to the
northwest of the Lake Wednesday night and Thursday sending an
attendant weak cold front across the Lake Wednesday night. The
next storm system will then slowly cross northern Ontario and
northern Quebec Friday and Saturday sending a secondary cold front
across the Lake Friday night, while expansive high pressure moves
from the Canadian Rockies to the central Plains.

.TODAY...Northwest winds 10 knots or less becoming southwest.
Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds less than 10 knots becoming east and
increasing to 15 to 25 knots after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less
building to 3 to 5 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...East winds to 30 knots. Showers likely in the
morning, then showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the
afternoon. Waves 5 to 8 feet building to 7 to 11 feet. Waves
occasionally around 14 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds to 30 knots becoming southeast and
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots. Showers with a chance of
thunderstorms. Waves 6 to 10 feet subsiding to 4 to 7 feet. Waves
occasionally around 13 feet.
.THURSDAY...South winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southeast.
Occasional showers during the day, then a chance of showers
Thursday night. Waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 1 to 2 feet.
.FRIDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. A chance of
showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest 10 to
15 knots. A chance of showers during the day. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
