...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON...
NORTHWESTERN HYDE...SOUTHEASTERN MARTIN AND NORTH CENTRAL BEAUFORT
COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...

At 320 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Williamston, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Plymouth, Wenona, Hinson, Roper, Long Acre VFD, Jamesville, Pantego,
and Dardens.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
eastern North Carolina.
