...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SAMPSON...
SOUTHEASTERN HARNETT AND NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 445
PM EDT...

At 419 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Godwin to 13 miles east of Fort Liberty to
near Fayetteville. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Dunn, Godwin, Eastover, Roseboro, Stedman, Newton
Grove, Wade, Salemburg, and Falcon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
