.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

East to southeast winds will bring 1 to 2 foot surf heights to
Franklin County beaches today, leading to a high risk of rip currents.
Confidence is medium in this occuring and the forecast may need to be
adjusted later in the morning after talking with beach officials. Else
where, a moderate risk of rip currents is forecast for today. Surf
heights should be around 1 to 2 feet, with a period around 5 seconds.
