* Tornado Warning for...
  Cook County in south central Georgia...
  Southeastern Berrien County in south central Georgia...
  Lanier County in south central Georgia...
  Lowndes County in south central Georgia...
  Southeastern Thomas County in south central Georgia...
  Brooks County in south central Georgia...
  Southeastern Colquitt County in south central Georgia...

* Until 815 AM EDT.

* At 722 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Boston, or 7 miles west of Quitman, moving east at
  45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Quitman around 725 AM EDT.
  Valdosta and I-75 At Exit 16 around 745 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Grooverville, Barretts, New Lois, Massee, Greggs, Dasher, Everett,
Hansell, Nankin, and Empress.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Tallahassee.
