Yellowstone, Big Hole Pass, Dewey, and Wise River

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
MDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 5
  inches, with the highest amounts in northwestern Beaverhead
  County, including Big Hole and Chief Joseph Passes. Winds gusting
  as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...The Mountains of Southwestern Montana south of Interstate
  90.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and reduced visibility
  at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road
Report website.

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 1 and
  3 feet possible. Winds could gust in excess of 50 mph at times.

* WHERE...Little Belt and Highwood Mountains.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Those in
  the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and
  gear and may want to consider alternate plans. Strong winds could
  result in significant blowing snow and damage to trees and power
  lines.
