...Rifle River at Sterling expected to remain below flood stage...

  Rifle River at Sterling

The latest forecast keeps the Rifle River near Sterling below flood
stage. Ongoing snow melt in areas north of the river will continue
to push levels upward but flooding is not expected at this time. The
river is expected to crest Tuesday into Wednesday below any flood or
action stages.

The National Weather Service will continue to monitor river levels
and issue further statements if conditions warrant.
