Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Pennsylvania
National Weather Service State College, PA
222 PM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Low humidity (20-30% minRH) and breezy conditions (South to
Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 25-30 mph) will
result in an elevated risk of wildfire spread for the remainder
of this afternoon.

Rain showers will develop across northwest PA this evening and
gradually spread to the south and east overnight.

Scattered rain showers are expected to continue through Wednesday
afternoon with a gusty thunderstorm possible in a few spots as a
pool of anomalously cold air aloft moves over the state.

Showers will diminish early Wednesday night as conditions dry
out for late week.
