.DISCUSSION...
Mostly cloudy skies will persist across the Cadet Class 124 Live Fire Exercise
area today. Winds will be from the northeast for the next few
hours and then shifting to the east around 8 AM with another shift
to the southeast around 2 PM this afternoon. Wind speeds will
range from 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph throughout the day.
Relative humidity will drop below the 50 percent mark after 1 PM
this afternoon but values remain elevated through the period. An
upper level disturbance moving across the southern part of the Rio
Grande Plains will continue to push to the east and produce some
showers over that area, but by the time it moves near Austin, we
are not expecting shower activity to affect the area.
