.DISCUSSION...
Persistent south winds of 10 to 15 mph will be in place this afternoon
and humidity will remain very high at 65 to 70 percent. The southerly
winds will weaken slightly to slightly below 10 mph this evening, and
a shift to a more south-southwest direction is expected in advance of
an approaching cold front. A band of showers and thunderstorms may
impact the burn site between 3 am and 7 am with lower rain chances
after 7 am. Dry weather and a shift in winds to the north-northwest
is expected by mid-day tomorrow in the wake of the front. Minimum
humidity will be lower tomorrow at between 45 and 50 percent.
1. Winds are expected to be fairly consistent at 180 to 210 degrees
throughout the afternoon and early evening hours.
2. A southeast component is not expected this afternoon.
Winds will gradually turn more and more southwesterly and then
west-southwesterly as a cold front approaches through the overnight
hours.
3. No changes to the expected arrival time of the front. Rain will be
most likely between 3 am and 7 am. North winds will take hold between
9 am and 11 am.
4. No other changes to the forecast since this morning.
