.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extending south into the mid-Atlantic
will gradually move east and away from the waters overnight
through Tuesday. Low pressure will move slowly northeast from the
southeast U.S., reaching North Carolina Tuesday, Maryland
Wednesday, and New England Thursday. A warm front accompanies the
low as it moves north, and a cold front will follow the low and
move east of the waters on Thursday. A surface trough will move
into the waters Thursday and weaken, with high pressure building
in briefly Thursday night. Weak low pressure develops over the
southeast U.S. again Friday, moving northeast and reaching the
mid-Atlantic waters Saturday, as another cold front trails across
the waters to the southwest of the low. The low and the cold
front will both move east of the area Saturday night.
