...Gusty Southwest to West Winds Expected Into This Evening...

Over portions of southeast Missouri and the Tennessee border
counties of western Kentucky, southwest to west winds will be
sustained around 20 mph with gusts around 35 mph. A gradual
diminishing trend is expected after sunset, but gusts over 30 mph
will still be possible through the evening.

Area boaters, especially those operating smaller watercraft,
should be prepared for white caps. Drivers of high-profile
vehicles should exercise caution.

State police in Missouri have reported blowing dust causing
sharply reduced visibility in a few locations. This blowing dust
is mainly in the vicinity of farm fields south and east of Poplar
Bluff.
