...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SHASTA COUNTY THROUGH 145
AM PDT...

At 1246 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from Palo Cedro to Montgomery Creek.
Movement was southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. Heavy rain and ponding of
         water. Lightning and small hail possible.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Redding, Palo Cedro, Round Mountain, Hillcrest, Montgomery Creek, and
Millville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
