This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Overnight.

Mainly between 10 PM and 4 AM, isolated to scattered thunderstorm
activity is possible almost anywhere in the outlook area, but most
favoring locations between the Highway 92 corridor in Nebraska,
and the Highway 36 corridor in north central Kansas. Although most
storms should be fairly weak, a few stronger storms capable of
producing hail up to around the size of nickels and/or wind gusts
up to around 50 MPH do appear possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday afternoon, near-critical fire weather conditions are
likely across the outlook area, along with more localized,
briefly-critical conditions in some places. This will be due to
the combination of north-northwest winds gusting 25 to 35 MPH,
and relative humidity as low as 18 to 25 percent.

Thunderstorm chances return Thursday and continue off and on into
the weekend. Some storms Thursday afternoon and overnight may be
strong to severe, especially near and south of Interstate 80.
Another round of severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out during
the day Friday mainly in eastern parts of our area, but this will
depend on factors such as how quickly a front is able to sweep
through the region, and perhaps also by how prior thunderstorm
activity unfolds Thursday night into Friday morning.

Additional thunderstorm chances are in the forecast between
Saturday night and Sunday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation should not be needed through tonight, but any
reports of possible small hail or gusty thunderstorm winds would
be appreciated.
