The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Very late Saturday night into Sunday morning, at least scattered thunderstorms will likely track from west to east across parts of the outlook area. Some of these storms could be severe, capable of producing hail to at least the size of quarters, and perhaps wind gusts to around 60 MPH. In the wake of the Sunday morning storms, redevelopment of additional storms is possible Sunday afternoon and/or evening, but there is considerable uncertainty regarding exactly where or when this might occur, as much of this will depend on how efficiently the airmass can destabilize in the wake of the morning activity and possible lingering cloud cover. That being said, should sufficient instability develop, conditions will be favorable for possible severe weather, and nearly our entire area is currently under a Slight Risk for severe storms. Monday afternoon into Monday night will bring another chance for thunderstorms, some of which could again be severe. Beyond Monday night, various, intermittent chances for thunderstorms are in the forecast Tuesday through Thursday. However, these chances appear overall more spotty in nature compared to Sunday and Monday, and with a lower risk of being severe. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. && More information may be obtained at the following web page: https://www.weather.gov/hastings $$ Pfannkuch
