...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM MONDAY TO MIDNIGHT
MDT MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 35 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Lincoln County, South Central Highlands, South
  Central Mountains, Upper Tularosa Valley, and Southwest Chaves
  County.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Monday to midnight MDT Monday Night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles. Reduced visibility from
  blowing dust and sand will significantly reduce visibility at
  times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take action to secure trash cans, lawn furniture, and other loose or
lightweight outdoor objects. Extremely hazardous driving conditions
can be expected, especially for motorists in high profile vehicles
who should consider delaying travel.

  Mountains, Lower Rio Grande Valley, Estancia Valley, Central
  Highlands, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass, Far
  Northeast Highlands, and Northeast Highlands.

* WHEN...From noon to 9 PM MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs may be blown down. Expect strong crosswinds on area
  roadways. Reduced visibility from blowing dust will be possible
  near source regions.
