...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern Rock
Island, southwestern Scott and central Muscatine Counties through 945
PM CDT...

At 905 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Muscatine, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Rock Island, Muscatine, Walcott, Blue Grass, Buffalo,
Andalusia, Fruitland, Montpelier, Illinois City, Fairport, Edgington,
Stockton, Clark`s Ferry Recreation Area, West Lake Park, New Era,
Pleasant Prairie, Saulsbury Bridge Campground, Buffalo Shores, and
Ardon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
