.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected
this afternoon with the highest coverage in north Georgia. Outside
of any rainfall, minimum RH values this afternoon are forecast to
range from near 40 percent in central Georgia to near 60 percent in
far north Georgia. Winds through the remainder of the afternoon will
be primarily S to SW at 5-10 mph. More numerous showers and
thunderstorms are expected across the area on Saturday, especially
in the afternoon. Rainfall amounts through Saturday are forecast to
range from mainly one-half of an inch to an inch, although locally
heavier amounts could be possible with stronger storms that occur.
Minimum RH values on Saturday afternoon will range from near 50
percent in east-central Georgia to near 70 percent in far north
Georgia.
