.DISCUSSION...
Friday, a round of showers and thunderstorms will be possible
across the forecast area with the highest chances north of the I-20
corridor. QPF will be limited to around a tenth with the highest
elevations across far northeast Georgia seeing as much as a quarter
inch. Southerly winds will be around 5 to 10 mph gusting to 15 mph
at times. Moisture return will keep minimum RH`s in the 40s across
central Georgia and the 50s and 60s across north Georgia.
Saturday, widespread showers and thunderstorms will be possible for
the forecast area. While the threat for severe weather is low a few
thunderstorms could become strong to severe. QPF will range from
about a quarter inch to three quarters of an inch.
