Rain and snow began falling over eastern Utah and western
Colorado Thursday evening as a weather disturbance began to
move into the region. Precipitation will continue overnight
into early Saturday morning. Following are 24 hour reports
of snowfall, and precipitation from rain and melted snow.

Snowfall favored the northern and central mountains of western
Colorado. As of mid morning, automated sensors indicated
estimated snowfall amounts of up to 3 inches of new snow have
