FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

THE NEARLY STATIONARY LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL
SLOWLY RETREAT TO THE NORTHWEST, ALLOWING FOR DRIER AIR TO ENTER THE
FORECAST AREA FROM THE SOUTHWEST. MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND A WARMING
TREND WILL RESULT THROUGH MID WEEK. THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
AN AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORM OVER THE HIGHER MOUNTAINS NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 70. ANOTHER AREA OF LOW PRESSURE PUSHING INLAND FROM OFF
THE CALIFORNIA COAST WILL INCREASE THE WARM AND DRY SOUTHWEST WINDS
OVER THE FORECAST AREA FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.
